Being a small business owner is not easy. In fact, it can be tough and in my opinion, it is getting tougher. Inflation, possible recession and numerous other setbacks can create a hinderance to your business. But I have one way of scaling my business that didn’t cost me anything. Would you like to know what it is?

You never have to budget for a large social media campaign. As a matter of fact, this method doesn’t cost you anything to do. Simply leverage your current consumers. Well, in my case, leverage your current agents. Huh?

I am certain that you have some fans within your customer base that are very happy with the product or service that you provide. Ask them to do a testimonial of your business to help gain more customers. Try to obtain reviews on programs like Yelp and your Google Business profiles. You can offer rewards for referrals for those who bring new customers to your service. In my company, we provide regular payments to agents who recruited new agents that are working within the system. You can offer discounts for customers who are willing to share their experience with you on social media. People do not mind supporting you but just make sure that what you are offering to your customers is not trash. No one talks well of businesses that are just awful.
