LYFT JOINS THE WORK-FROM-HOME REVOLUTION

It appears that Lyft is joining numerous corporations in the transition to work-from-home. There are plans within their organization to scale back on office space within their corporate offices in San Francisco, New York City, Seattle and Nashville. The large percentage of the office space they had in their buildings will be rented out to other businesses. Lyft made a decision in March to allow employees to choose where they wish to work. Once employees made their decisions and stayed home, Lyft recognized a large amount of office space that was going unused and have decided to rent the space out to other companies.

It seems that this company is embracing the work-from-home concept and are now saving a lot of money by allowing it. Much of the work that employees do within the company are done over the computer and do not require a lot of personal interaction. This company has made the pivot beautifully as a result of the pandemic and are one of several companies that have survived the pandemic.

Wishing them and all corporations much success!!!!
